What exactly is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that combines microneedling with Radiofrequency (RF) energy. While traditional microneedling stays on the surface, Morpheus8 delivers heat deep into the dermis, stimulating collagen production and actually “remodelling” the fat and tissue for a tighter, smoother appearance.
Does Morpheus8 treatment hurt?
We prioritize your comfort. Before the procedure, we apply a high-strength topical numbing cream to the treatment area. Most clients describe the sensation as a light tugging or a warm prickly feeling. Our practitioners are highly experienced in managing comfort levels throughout the session.
What is the downtime after a session?
One of the biggest benefits of Morpheus8 is the minimal downtime. You can expect some redness and slight swelling (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24–72 hours. You can usually apply makeup 24 hours after treatment and return to your normal routine almost immediately.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
While you will notice a “Morpheus8 glow” within days, the best results come from a course of treatments. We typically recommend a series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For more significant skin laxity or scarring, additional sessions may be advised during your initial consultation.
How soon will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but the most noticeable changes typically appear after 3 weeks. Your skin will continue to improve for up to 3 months after your final treatment as collagen and elastin production continues to ramp up.
Is Morpheus8 safe for all skin types?
Morpheus8 is generally safe for all skin types, but we do take extra care with darker skin tones because there’s a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). For Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin types, we’ll assess your skin first and tailor the settings (and aftercare) to keep the treatment as safe as possible.
Which areas can be treated?
Morpheus8 is incredibly versatile. It is most commonly used for the face, neck, and jawline (to treat “jowls”), but it is also highly effective on the body for skin tightening on the abdomen, knees, and arms, or for reducing the appearance of stretch marks and acne scarring.
